Volunteer Appreciation Banquet

Let our students thank you for all the hard work, food, and love you pour into them!

Adults attend 6:30p - 7:30p ; Students attend 5p - 8p

Banquet set up and prep day on Monday Feb 16 11a - 1p. Students are asked to attend, but not required, to set up sanctuary, decorate, and complete some food prep.

Students should also try to wear ‘nicer’ (or dinosaur themed) clothes.

Service Project/Missions Night - Joint MS & HS

We’ve got 3 projects to work on:

  • Packing OCC boxes to share the gospel around the world - our goal is 50!

  • Repainting our church’s nativity setup (just white paint - no skill required). Wear clothes that are okay to get paint on!!

  • Picking up limbs from bushes and trees around our parking lot - bring a coat, gloves provided.

Day Hike @ TBD

Students can be dropped off at The Forge (264 Judah Dr) BEFORE 9:30am to carpool to TBA OR can meet us at the trailhead (TBA) at 10am. We will hike and plan to be back at the trailhead parking lot by 1pm. Students can be picked up at the trailhead before 1:15pm or they will be transported back to The Forge for pickup ~1:45pm.

Please let Ash know ahead of time if you will be carpooling from the church.

This is a FREE event and parents/families are welcome to join us.

Sturdy shoes or hiking boots are recommended. Students are expected to bring their own water, and lunch/snacks if desired. Layer tops (short and long sleeves) and long pants are recommended.

Day Hike @ Hardie Loop Trail

Students can be dropped off at The Forge (264 Judah Dr) BEFORE 9:30am to carpool to the Hardie Loop Trailhead OR can meet us at the trailhead (2292 Old Bonair Rd, Sparta, TN 38583) at 10am. We will leisurely walk this relatively easy, 2.4 mile hike and plan to be back at the trailhead parking lot by 1pm. Students can be picked up at the trailhead before 1:15pm or they will be transported back to The Forge for pickup ~1:45pm.

Please let Ash know ahead of time if you will be carpooling from the church.
